TIME. It’s the #1 reason why most ladies struggle with reaching their goals. Any time I send out a survey it’s crazy to see how many of you say you just don’t have the time to meal plan and cook. So today I thought I would share how to use AHP to not only save time but make it so you can actually accomplish your goals without a lot of extra effort!
1 – The Recipes Button. Stop scrolling Pinterest or wasting time googling for recipes and instead, save tons of time by clicking “recipes” and then “week” where you’ll find 7 lunch and 7 dinner recommendations to fit your goals. Select which recipes you want to cook for the week from the 14 suggested, add them to your list and your meal plan for the week is DONE! It’s that easy.
2 – The Shopping List. How often have you been out running errands and decided to run to the grocery store only to realize your shopping list is at home? Or how many times have you gone from produce to meat realizing you still need oranges back in produce? Not only is our shopping list digital (you can access from any device) it’s also organized by department so you can shop in a quick and efficient manner saving you time (and money because you’re buying only what you need).
And don’t forget about the new feature that allows you to add ANYTHING to your shopping list.
3 – Quick Recipes (most are 30 min or less of active time). I develop on average 7-9 recipes per day when I am in the kitchen so they HAVE to be fast and my goal is to make all of them no more than 30 minutes of active time in the kitchen. All of my longer recipes take that time because you’re roasting a butternut squash or waiting on wild rice to cook not because you’re slaving over the stove! If you’re really in a hurry try typing “15 minutes” into the search bar. Or steal my list of my favorite under 20-minute meals.
4 – Lists. Honestly, the list feature is my favorite thing about the software. I can’t even tell you how many times I have tried to organize my recipes and have failed. With the list feature you’re essentially creating your own custom cookbook with only the recipes you love in it. So much time is saved because everything is in one place, you just pull your list up, click on the recipe and cook. Also, you’ll never have to worry about losing a recipe after you’ve bought the ingredients again!
